sometimes, things are really just like that. can do nothing about it, cant do anything about it. why not just accept what's what and move on? there's no choice.
perhaps all these 19 years of my life, i lived without trying t understand each and every situation. kept thinking what i see, what i hear, what i know was always right. i was wrong. i failed to see the bigger picture. so, i had no right to bear any grudge against anything, anyone. it was all those weird things happening in my head. i ought to sort it out clearly often. else, i would always be making wrong choices and decisions. i dont want to live a life with: why did i do that? i regret it alot. i want to live it with: i made the right decision. i wont regret.
regretting takes one nowhere. yes, if one doesnt try, one may never know how something will turn out, but some things in life, u know u wont like it even if u never tried it before.
brings me to the topic on my future. since young, my ambition was to be a teacher. it followed me all the way till now. when i got my a level results, my relatives thought that i shouldnt go into teaching cos my results were 'too good'. does results matter? teaching requires knowledge, discipline and lots of other requirements. it is also a profession. its not some job someone out of despair would turn to. yes, it has its demands, its challenges. but, which job in the world doesnt have demands and challenges? if i cant handle the demands of a job i like, how would i be able to handle a job i dont actually like? everyday would just be a struggle. they dont know what i'm thinking. so here it is: i want to do something i like. faced with a challenge, conquering it would be a great satisfaction, a huge achievement. yet, if i do something i have no interest in, faced with a challenge, i would be pressurised, i would develop a strong dislike towards it, and in the end? i'll just give up.
so there's that and i have decided i will go into teaching as my career. no matter what.
