After a 10-year gap, I went to watch an NDP rehearsal. Well, this time it is at Marina Bay floating platform instead of the past at kallang? padang? haha i dont even remember.
Compared to previous years, the NDP has been becoming more and more modernised, having more and more hip stuff inside. I was like thinking 'like that also can ah?' when the UGs marched in with the ah boys to men song played. Shouldnt it be more formal? But whatever la, goverment never say cannot, so okay lor. hahaha. Even merlion can swim over to the platform liao.
The standard of the performances, though more hip, but some were really cool and impressive. With the passing years, ideas are getting more and more creative, hence the coolness. But sadly, seems like the creativeness for the new songs aren't that good huh. Songs like Home, Where I belong, One people One nation, and many many older songs have so much meaning and they sound so nice. Why keep going wooh ohoh wooh? Sorry, no offence. I'm not a composer, I'm not a musician, but at least I know what is good and what is not.
Okay, enough of my negative feedbacks. Im not in much position to say so much. Later tio flame say: say so much, you compose one la! ooops.
Highlight of the whole event: LIGHTING UP THE SKIES! yeap, as you can infer, its the FIREWORKS! They go booooom! then piak piak piak piak! hahahahaha. okay more of boooooom the boom boom boom boom. My description not that good, but you understand can already. Fireworks don't look that nice in cameras compared to seeing it up real. Or probably the phone couldnt focus well cos its already dark at night. Let me post up a few nice ones:

Hi~ I feel like blogging about the past 2 weeks, but Im just too tired now. Perhaps tomorrow or another time when I got lesser work on my hands.
On a side note, I thought I wasn't that GAGA over xiaogui anymore. Turns out, I was wrong.. I am so in love with him. Yes, I am huachi, but come on, its okay to have an idol right? At least I dont go screaming like a mad woman all the time. hahaha.

People all have expectations. Whether or not it is high, average or low. Expectations. It is what that keeps us going forward, fighting hard to achieve.It is what that gives us the strength to pick up ourselves when we fall. We want to live to our expectations.
Another kind of expectation. Its our expectations of people around us. Perhaps, its the normal things that happen around us that make us expect things naturally. Perhaps, its just one's own mindset.
The biggest letdown is not failure to achieve one's own expectation. It is failure to get what you expect from people around you. Yes, this is a selfish behaviour. But this is also human nature. It is tough, but why expect things from people? What you get is only a letdown. Don't let other people disappoint you. Only let youself disappoint yourself.
So conclusion, never expect anything from anyone except your ownself.

2 days of school attachment programme has passed! Although I did minimal work, I FEEL SO TIRED. shag ah. waking up early in the morning, struggling to sleep well at night.. I feel like a zombie.. rushing out project stuff, attending lesson observations... ohmy i feel like a secondary school kid once again.. some of the teachers are beginning to 'recognise' me! well of course, after all they taught me for at least a year before. haha. i hope the next 3 weeks plus plus plus will be fine.. aish.. last day of school is ending off with a thanksgiving event from 1-8pm... NOOOOOOOOOOO.
